That's my take on it. If the Quarians don't get suits til adulthood there must be an alternative quarentine. You couldn't just put all the kids in one room, any grade school teacher will tell you that's a bad idea for a weak immune system. And you couldn't just have them sitting around in containment units, their muscles would atrophy. I imagine the bubble Ran is refering to initially would be some kind of tent, like they have to premature babies but as the children began to walk a kind of hampster ball might be used until the children reach adulthood and can be fitted for a suit.
Makes sense. Thanks for that, wasn't all too sure about it because in my fan fic my quarian is still in her bubble but was about to get her suit. So I wanted to be sure I was describing it right, but now I know I did it wrong. An easy fix.
Adorable but very sad...i imagine this is the mood of the piece
"Papa! Come play with me." "Not now child, I am very busy." "But papa..." "I said I am busy." *Mother comes in* "Now, now Tali...don't bother your father." "Ok", she sighs. In an attempt to boost her spirits, "Lets go see what auntie Raan is up to" "Ok", she says with a smile. After they leave the room Rael sulks his head into his desk...
My heart totally just squeezed a bit. I love this. The composition, the traditional style, the attention to detail, the emotion, the whole idea---I don't think I've ever seen anything like it. Beautiful work.
